Before Jordy identified as non-binary, they were a part of the ThisManToo campaign, in which men were open in discussion of sexual assault, very much linked to the MeToo campaign.

Jordy appeared on the BBC Nine in September 2019, discussing their sexual assault that took place in a university setting, and the support students need.

In August 2020 Jordy was selected as Young Scot Arts Award WINNER for their work and activism for young people ages 14-25, including a letter from First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, congratulating them. Jordy is now part of a panel for Young Scot putting together resources and workshops for young people to tackle loneliness and isolation during COVID 19.
